Statement from Tamera Snow

To Canadian Immigration & Protection Authorities

To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Tamera Snow, and I am writing to explain why it is essential for my husband, Dean Snow, to remain in Canada under my protection and why his presence here is in the best interest of both myself and our daughters, Trinity and Deanna.

I am not writing this lightly. I am writing because our safety, stability, and emotional well-being depend on it.

1. Dean is the anchor of our family, and without him our safety is at risk.

We came to Canada together because we were escaping a situation in the United States that became dangerous for us. We felt targeted, unsafe, and unsupported by the very institutions that were supposed to protect families. Dean was specifically pressured and threatened by officials, and my children and I were also affected.

Canada is the first place we have felt even a small measure of peace. Dean’s presence is a critical part of that safety.

He is:

Removing him from Canada or separating us again would put us right back into the fear and uncertainty we fled from.

2. My daughters — Trinity and Deanna — need Dean in their lives.

This is not just about me. This is about two girls who have already lived through trauma, instability, and upheaval.

Dean has been:

Trinity, especially, has been through events in the U.S. legal system that left emotional scars. Deanna has known Dean as the most stable parental figure in her life.

Both of my children are healthier, calmer, and more emotionally stable when Dean is present.

The thought of being separated again is not only heartbreaking — it is harmful.

3. I need Dean here for my own emotional and mental stability.

I am being completely honest when I say that I cannot manage this alone. The trauma we left behind still affects me. There are days when the memories make it hard to function, and Dean is the one who helps me stay grounded.

He helps me:

He is not just a husband. He is my support system. Without him, I am vulnerable, overwhelmed, and less capable of caring for my children.

4. Dean is not a danger to Canada — he is an asset.

I want to be clear: Dean has never been violent, abusive, or harmful to me, my children, or anyone else.

What happened to him in the United States involved, from our perspective:

My daughter Trinity testified to his innocence. Multiple witnesses saw him with Trinity after his release, calm and appropriate — including my mother-in-law Linda, my brother-in-law David, Seth, Jeanine, and Brandon. These moments matter because they show the truth that we believe the system refused to acknowledge.

Canada has nothing to fear from Dean. He is hardworking, creative, peaceful, and devoted to his family.

5. Keeping Dean in Canada protects me, my children, and our future.

I am asking Canadian authorities to:

Our family deserves the chance to live, heal, and rebuild in a safe environment. Canada has given us hope. Dean is part of that hope.

Please allow him to stay so our family can remain whole, stable, and safe.

Sincerely,
Tamera Snow
